So lately I've been wondering
Who will be there to take your place
Now you're gone
You'll need love to light the shadows on your face
If a great wave shall fall and fall upon us all
Then between sand and stone
Could you make it on your own.

And maybe, I'll find out
A way to make it back someday
To watch you, to guide you, through the darkest of your days
If a great wave shall fall and fall upon us all
Then I hope there's someone out there
Who can bring me back to you.

I know now, just quite how
My life and love might still go on
In my heart, in my mind
I'll stay with me for all of time.
